A thought from George Ford
'Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go
throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in
their heart but believes that way they say will happen,
it will be done for them.'
Mark 11:23
Reflection
We have to take note here that during Jesus earthly days there was a Jewish proverb about telling a mountain to throw its self into the sea used as a saying to describe an impossible situation or request. Many of us will have experienced those kind of days when every task or situation feels like a mountain to climb - yet once tackled they prove to be nothing like what we feared. Just as doubt and fear are part of life – so is faith – faith in ourselves, and all we can do because of our faith in Jesus and all God did for us through Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father and Almighty God we praise and thank you for your great love and all you have done for us through Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Strengthen and renew we pray, your Spirit within us, that we may in true faith face with courage all that may trouble us today, and continue trust you through what ever our tomorrows might bring. Through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Amen

‘Faith as small as a mustard seed will move mountains, move mountains
Faith as small as a mustard seed will move mountains by the power of God.
Believe what Jesus said was true. Believe he meant it just for you.
Wait and see what God will do as you pray, as you pray.
Faith as small as a mustard seed will move mountains, move mountains
Faith as small as a mustard seed will move mountains by the power of God.’
