A thought from George Ford

‘Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again Rejoice!’
(Philippians 4:4)

Reflection

St. Paul was keen that all Christians should rejoice and praise God for all His goodness. Keen that we should be full of thankfulness for all God has done. The wonders of His creation – the love that hung there on the cross for our forgiveness. - that we should longer be burden by our sin but have life, life in all its wonderful fullness. May we, despite whatever difficulties we find ourselves in, always be able to thank and praise God for what he has done for us and shares with us along our life’s journey.

Prayer

Heavenly Father we praise you for your wonderful creation, and rejoice at all your love for us. Especially for loving us so much that you allowed Jesus to die for our sins that might have life to the full. May the joy of knowing such love overflow from us in rejoicing and in love we show to others; for Jesus sake. Amen.

Worship

‘Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice, rejoice, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice, rejoice, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice, rejoice, and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice, rejoice, and again I say rejoice!’
