A thought from George Ford
‘For none of us lives to himself alone, and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live we live to the Lord; if we die we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.’
(Romans 14:7-9)
Reflection
St Paul tells us that through our belief and trust in Jesus we are forever with the Lord, whether we live or whether we die. He also assures us in an earlier chapter that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom.8:38&39)
Prayer
Loving Lord Jesus who died for us, that might know the love of God, and have faith in your resurrection from the dead. Strengthen our faith and trust in you, we pray, that through you Spirit alive in us we might now your presence with us in this life and for all eternity. To your everlasting praise and glory. Amen
Worship
Worthy, O worthy are you, Lord, Worthy to be thanked and praised and worshipped and adored. Worthy, O worthy are you, Lord, Worthy to be thanked and praised and worshipped and adored.
(Mark S. Kinzer 1976)
