A thought from George Ford

‘Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.’

(2 Corinthians 3:17,18)

Reflection

We were all created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). We therefore should all reflect His likeness in our lives. Thanks to the death and resurrection of Jesus we are able to know God more closely, know His love, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit into our lives to assist us, and transform us, more and more into His likeness that we might reflect Him and His great love for all around us to see.

Prayer

Heavenly Father who loves all you have created, and did make us in your image, strengthen your loving Spirit within us we pray, that we might continue to be transformed into your likeness, and be true reflectors of your great love in all we do. And to you be all honour praise and glory.
Amen.
