‘In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.’ . . .

And now these three remain Faith, Hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ in His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, . . .

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to feel sympathy for our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin. . . .

‘Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song you mountains!’ . . .

‘Cast all your care on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.’ . . .

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. Where can I go from your Spirit?
